Yorchestra courses are held three times a year, during the school holidays at Easter, Summer and Christmas.
Every ensemble course incorporates a final performance, for family and friends. For safeguarding reasons, specific times and locations are sent privately to registered parents and guardians.
Christmas Course – 28th to 30th December 2026
The Christmas course runs over 3 days and is held at the Jack Lyons Concert Hall, University of York:

Because Maestro tends to be made up of players in exam years, no Maestro course runs during the Easter holidays as most students are in the middle of preparing for external examinations.
